Refund Policy

For the Fall Semester, in order to be eligible for a refund of the tuition, students in the 7- to 15-week adult classes must notify the Office within 24 hours of the first class meeting that he/she is withdrawing from the course. Students in the 1- to 2-day adult workshops, and youth/teen classes must notify the Office by September 27, 2024 that he/she is withdrawing from the course.

For the Spring Semester, in order to be eligible for a refund of the tuition, students in the 7- to 15-week adult classes must notify the Office within 24 hours of the first class meeting that he/she is withdrawing from the course. Students in the 1- to 2-day adult workshops, and youth/teen classes must notify the Office by January 31, 2025 that he/she is withdrawing from the course. If, however, the student preregistered for the Spring Semester, the tuition will not be refunded or transferred to a different section, course, semester, or person. 

If the course is cancelled due to low enrollment, the student will receive a tuition refund.

Force Majeure – Should Hill Institute be unable to run more than half of the scheduled class sessions due to a Force Majeure event, students will receive a prorated refund based on the number of cancelled sessions; however, if more than half of the scheduled class sessions are able to run, students will not receive a prorated refund.
