Ann Marie has studied clothing construction, coupled with the use of quality fabrics and colorwise combinations since she was a young girl in the 4-H program. Ann Marie has exhibited clothing in the fashion industry, consulting with reputable designers. Her pieces have been shown at major local and national art events, one such being the Smithsonian Institute Art Exhibit, in Washington D.C. in the Fiber Art category.
Her objective, as a tailor, is to create quality, functional clothing for men and women that fit well and look neat. It is gratifying to create a wearable article of clothing from a flat piece of beautiful fabric.
Currently, Ann Marie continues to construct wonderful garments, renovate favorite pieces and alter clothing to proper size for her varied clients. She pays special attention to details and finishes well.
