Woodworking (All Levels). Each student chooses their own project. Students learn to operate the classroom equipment safely and how to manage their projects. Classroom time includes lessons and demonstrations by the instructor, time for students to work on their projects, and time for one on one questions.
In this class we cover the basics of woodworking, including planning and design, making cut lists, how to purchase wood, project layout, milling and squaring up stock, mortise & tenon and dovetail joinery, glue ups and clamping, preparing projects for finishing and finishing techniques.
