Teen Sculptural Felting (Ages 13-17)

Learn how to use wet and needle felting to create 3-D forms and to sculpt animals and characters from wool. In weeks 1+2 you will be introduced to the processes of wet and needle felting. We will practice foundational techniques and begin to combine these two kinds of felting to create an embellished felt vessel. In weeks 3+4 you will continue to use wet and needle felting to explore a more independent project based on your own interests. Returning students will be able to continue building their skills and technique through the class projects and have the possibility to do an independent project.
