This workshop will familiarize and train students in the proper maintenance of their sewing machine. In the course of four hours, we shall cover cleaning, lint removal, oiling, and tension adjustments. Students should bring their own machine to the workshop. Be sure to bring the power cord and foot pedal, as well as a sample of the fabric you usually sew with and/or are experiencing problems using on the machine. If time permits, the instructor can assist participants with troubleshooting various minor problems that they may be experiencing with their machine. Upon completion, students will be comfortable and able to perform basic maintenance on their own sewing machines.
