This class provides an opportunity to delve into your painting work and to receive the instruction, support and critique you may need to move forward as an artist. Students work independently on their painting projects with individualized instruction, including discussion of technique, material usage, color theory, and composition. The focus of this workshop time is for each student to receive support pertinent to their skill level and interests. In spite of the focus on independent work, the atmosphere of the class is to build artistic community, and we will take may opportunities to share work with one another, and find inspiration and insight from the working methods of others.
Some prior experience necessary.
Students are welcome to bring a project already in process to the first class or materials to start their next painting.
