Painting Fall Themes for Beyond Beginners

This is geared for students who are interested in putting their skills and painting knowledge to use in a two-day “guided painting workshop.”  The instructor will choose a reference photo that coincides with the particular season.  Typical themes include landscapes with flowers, architecture, water, animals and people. The instructor will take the students step by step through the thought process, composition, suggested colors and the painting.  A new subject will be presented each day.

This workshop is recommended for students who have taken Andrea’s beginner class in the Spring and any students who have basic understanding of color mixing, wet on wet, and various techniques and are comfortable participating in a “guided painting” atmosphere.
