Knitting (Beginning to Advanced) – Section 1

  • Dates: Tuesday, 3:30-5:30pm, 10 Weeks
  • Tuition: $80
  • Instructor: Liz Sorenson

Knitting classes are open to multi-level knitting students from beginners to those with advanced skills. The classes are taught as on-going project classes where, depending upon experience, students may a) be new to the craft and want to learn to knit, or b) need skills refreshed or help choosing a new project, or c) bring projects they are working on to request occasional help. Students will receive one-on-one assistance from the instructor. When interesting problems or techniques arise, students may also review the problem/technique as a group and learn from each other.

The instructor will provide weekly tips on a variety of knitting techniques as short focused lessons. Beginners will be notified as to what to bring to the first class. All others should bring their knitting project, pattern, and tools (needles, knitting needle gauge, small ruler or swatch gauge, scissors, stitch makers, etc.).
