Italic Calligraphy – Not Being Offered in Spring 2024

This course is intended primarily for beginners but self-taught or intermediate learners are welcome and will derive benefit from the coaching & instruction provided. We will start out by learning an informal Italic script and then progress in later weeks to tackling a more formal Italic style – adding graceful swash capitals to our repertoire along the way! The final weeks of class will have students using the skills they’ve learned to craft a calligraphic project of their choice.
