Sewing/tailoring classes with Nancy Marshall are challenging and encouraging to all wanting to learn the art of sewing. Her classes cause one to think, figure and proceed confidently.
Students will work on a garment project of their choosing in consultation with the instructor.
In this class, you will learn various types of seams and finishes and gain confidence in producing a well constructed garment. You will create a garment that has your distinct style and color palette and that you will enjoy wearing and say, “I made this!”
The prerequisites for taking this class include the following skills: ability to measure and cut accurately, thread a sewing machine, use a serger, and choose the appropriate fabric for the item to be made.
