Mixed Level Basket Making Class will introduce the beginner basket maker to the fundamentals of basket weaving, including essential techniques, materials, and tools. Under the guidance of our experienced instructor, you’ll create your very own handcrafted market basket to take home and cherish.

A student who has had a little amount of experience in basket making and would like to try more complex designs in this hands-on class can try projects such as the unique construction and distinctive design of the cathead basket, characterized by its flared base and sturdy structure. There is the option to learn the Basic Twill Market Basket. This basket has a simple and distinctive design up the side, creating a functional work of art. For more advanced participants who are looking for a more challenging experience, the 1, 2, 3 Twill Basket creates an extraordinary diagonal design up the side of the basket that results in a stunning basket for all to admire.
